Reformer Big Splits

One way to talk a client through it:

Stand facing the foot bar with feet shoulder width apart and a slight turn out. Hold square hips and soft knees as you inhale to go out and exhale to come home.

Push out to a split, and flex forward, from there, reach out to come up into and extension. Inhale, close the carriage, exhale open the carriage. Return to flexion.

Hold the carriage closed, leaning over in flexion, reach out through the arms into extension. Exhale open the carriage, inhale close the carriage. (one of my favorite moments) Return to leaning over in flexion to finish.
