The lifting of the head happens in a precise order.
Start with a relaxed back of neck,
chin tilting up a little.
Exhale to prepare.
Inhale completely.
Begin rotating around the ears BEFORE you take on the weight of the head.
Chin in and mouth open, loose lips, exhale into the crease of the sternum.
(never interrupt the flow of the breath to achieve a movement.)
By inhaling completely you are more engaged before you lift your head so it's
lighter. By rotating around the ears before you lift the head, you're using
the strength and the stability of rotation to lift the head.
