Which picture is better? If this is meant to be the starting position of Control
Pushup, and you want to start at ease in order to be eccentric, how can you
adjust the equipment to get the poisition you prefer?
Maybe this is obvious, but I like the position on the right. The arms are
more directly under the body. On the left the angle of arms to body is not good
for the shoulder. The position at the right was attained by moving the carriage
out a gear so that the arms are directly under the body while the carriage is
not yet in spring tension. (I suppose you could also lower the foot bar if you
have that option.) Adjust the equipment to fit the body, don't force the body
into the tension of the equipment.
